Hut Accommodations

Pentland Shepherd Huts has three hut types: The Connemara, The Shetland, and The Highland. Family rooms offer a sofa bed, wardrobe, parquet floors, and The Connemara includes a king-size bed. Every hut is equipped with a wood-fired hot tub, wood fire pit, and barbecue.

Outdoor Living

The terrace and patio give access to private garden space with mountain views. A pub-style bench, fire pit, and barbecue are situated in the outdoor dining area. The site is secured with keypad automatic gates and has a fairy light lit tree.

Farm Life & Pet Policy

The huts sit on a working farm where guests can meet pygmy goats and Shetland ponies. All huts are dog-friendly, and a field is available for walking dogs. Complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, and fruit are provided on arrival.

Location & Access

The lodge is situated in the Pentland Hills, 28 km from Edinburgh Airport. Edinburgh Castle and Dalhousie Castle are within 18 km of the property. A regular local bus service offers frequent travel into Edinburgh city centre.
